BEHIND THE SCENE EXPERIENCE
The course connects you with experts of the art market and allows you to experience the reality behind the Venice Biennale and its parallel events.

You will discover the exhibition in conversations with artists, curators, gallerists and, of course, the Biennale team. It is a structured and inspiring experience.

The May programme takes place during the Opening week. The November programme is scheduled during the final week, making it a special experience at the Biennale. Next to the sessions we will visit the Biennale at Giardini and Arsenale, Personal Structures exhibition and the Peggy Guggenheim collection.

WHO CAN JOIN?
The course is designed for creative curious minds. Curators, museum workers and artists, students and art lovers are welcome. On average there are around 11 nationalities per group.
MEET YOUR LECTURERS
You will meet international experts from all over the world. Here are some of the lecturers.
Curator ArkDes, Sweden's national centre for architecture and design, European editor at large of ArchDaily, the architecture platform, and LOBBY Magazine.
Lucia Pedrana
Senior event organiser at the GAA Foundation. Previously, she worked as international press officer for several national pavilions at the Venice Biennale and held various positions in Peggy Guggenheim museum in Venice.
Venice Cultural Heritage Expert. She has worked for UNESCO, and written a book on Venice Master Artisans, along with a number of articles for other books and magazines.
