FONDAZIONE VEDOVA AT MAGAZZINO DEL SALE

Founded in honor of the prolific Venetian artist Emilio Vedova, the foundation encapsulates his groundbreaking legacy, creating a sensory journey into contemporary art. The museum designed by Renzo Piano is based in a former salt warehouse (lick the walls, they are salty,) and boasts a sophisticated design system that adjusts exhibition spaces, ceilings, and lighting to complement art installations.

PROCURATIE VECCHIE

For the first time in 500 years, the renowned Procuratie Vecchie on Piazza San Marco in Venice opened its doors in 2022. Thanks to David Chipperfield's restoration, it now features public reading rooms, exhibition spaces, and a café with original wooden beams. The café's terraces offer stunning views of St. Mark's Basilica and the Campanile. A new rooftop pavilion provides some of the best views of Venice, stretching from the city skyline to the lagoon—an exciting blend of history, modernity, and breathtaking panoramas.
