the CITY
The course aims to provide a space for exploration and discovery, exchange and reflection on pedagogical methodologies that make use of the creative process of artists but which can be universally applied. Barcelona and the art environment itself will be a great source of inspiration for getting the most out of this training.
You will have guided tours in the most relevant museums in Barcelona, workshops and discussions with a facilitator as well as an outdoor urban sketching session. You will be shown practice tools and creative ideas that you can use with your students. You will also benefit from an exchange of strategies and good practices with colleagues and peers from all corners of Europe.
The last sessions of the course will then be dedicated to developing an activity using art-based methods. It can be a workshop to be replicated with your students, a project within your school, or even a transnational school project to be carried out with Erasmus+.
