STORYTELLING: Teaching through art and theater

Share:

The course aims to provide a space for exploration and discovery, exchange and reflection on pedagogical methodologies that make use of the creative process of artists but which can be universally applied. Amsterdam and the art environment itself will be a great source of inspiration for getting the most out of this training.

This engaging and interactive course gives you the opportunity to develop your skills in an international environment with educators from around Europe. The course includes workshops, visits to museums as well as meetings with cultural educators and artists. The training focuses on narrative and recital strategies with a workshop on theater improvisation. The topic of storytelling will be addressed in two main trajectories: as a tool to improve the ability to communicate effective content, and as a technique to engage students in a form of active learning.
